Second Season of "Medaka Box" to be Announced Soon?

Rumors call for an April-June and October-December split production

If you're worried that Gainax might end their adaptation of Nisio Isin and Akira Akatsuki's Shonen Jump manga Medaka Box with a bewilderingly abrupt wrap-up that leaves you with your jaw on the floor saying "god my oh!", it looks like there may be cause to relax.

While the providence of the information hasn't been nailed down, signs are pointing to the series doing an April-June and October-December split. If the rumors bear out, a definitive confirmation should be coming soon.

Though, given Medaka Box's tendancy for subverting formula, maybe a Gainax ending would be appropriate for the series.
