Namco Bandai is continuing its hybrid disc trend with the Japanese home video release of Eureka Seven: AO. Eureka Seven: AO - The Flowers of Jungfrau packs the anime with a mecha-piloting PlayStation 3 game called Eureka Seven: AO - Attack the Legend this September.
The hybrid release will also include a 30-minute episode that connects episodes eight and nine, as well as 80 minutes of bonus footage from the pachislot machine, Eureka Seven Premium BB "The Day After."
Other hybrid Blu-ray/game discs include Macross: Do You Remember Love?, .hack//THE MOVIE, and Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne. Previously we didn't have much to go on as far as the Eureka Seven AO game was concerned, other than it being planned for PS3, but now the Eureka Seven: AO - The Flowers of Jungfrau set is dated for September 20 in Japan.
