Okay, so X-Men Origins: Wolverine wasn't a particularly good movie. The best parts happened to involve Ryan Reynolds' incredibly mouthy Deadpool continuously blabbing through a ten-minute action scene. Probably in an effort to stick closer to the comics (and not suck as much), the upcoming sequel The Wolverine features James "Logan" Howlett somehow ending up in Japan--beyond that, there are few details on the plot, but some new cast reveals hint at what may happen.
Internationally-certified badass Hiroyuki Sanada (The Last Samurai) will play cutthroat Yakuza boss Shingen, Rila Fukushima will play regular X-Men sorta-sidekick Yukio, and Tao Okamoto is set for the role of Wolverine's doomed love interest Mariko Yashida. Will Yun Lee (Die Another Day) is taking the role of Harada, but longtime Marvel fans (and fans of Capcom's Marvel fighting games) may recognize him as the Silver Samurai, who is confirmed as the film's villain.

You don't need dialogue for a good Wolverine fight, just a lot of AAAAAARGH
With James Mangold (Copland, 3:10 to Yuma) directing, The Wolverine looks like it's shaping up to be a dark action movie with a lot of style and character. What do you think? Will you check out Wolverine's return to film as he carves his way through Japan's underworld? I'll be sold if the whole movie is like his X-Men: First Class cameo.
