"Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3" Hits North America in Spring 2013

Namco Bandai announces localization of latest Naruto fighter

Not long after the first trailer made its debut, Namco Bandai Games has set a North American release window for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. The latest fighter from developer CyberConnect2 (Asura's Wrath) will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the west in Spring 2013.

Fans at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend can check out the first playable consumer demo at Namco Bandai's booth, which is #5136 on the show floor. From the release:

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 will feature the most extensive character roster of any game so far in the series, letting fans engage with a huge number of their favorite personalities from the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN universe, be they friend or foe.  In story mode, players will be thrown into a series of thrilling adventures set in the village of Konoha, while the game’s electrifying fights will be punctuated with massive scale boss battles, including a fearsome confrontation with the gargantuan Nine-Tails.

If anyone happens to be at the super-sized con this weekend, be sure to stop by their booth and give the fighter a spin!
