"Intron Depot 5" Collects Eight Years of Masamune Shirow Design Work

Intron Depot 5: Battalion gathers design work from 2001-2009

If you're looking for a new compendium of his pervy curvy mecha girls in Ghost in the Shell creator Masamune Shirow's new art book, you might be a bit disappointed. Intron Depot 5: Battalion will feature Masamune Shirow's design work from 2001-2009, with a lot from fantasy and mecha games likes Ashura, Breath of Fire and RF-ONLINE, including unused works and fizzled projects.

The 128-page book will retail for 2,520 yen ($32).

North American publisher Dark Horse released a 2002 calendar of Masamune Shirow's unused design work, and if the accompanying commentary on this book is anything like that, you can expect plenty of cattiness and laid blame.
