Operation Zero Aims to Bring "Fatal Frame 2" on Wii to the U.S.

Group plans write- and call-in campaign for later this week

Operation Rainfall is a group that helped raise awareness of unlocalized Wii RPGs The Last Story, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower, with the hope that Nintendo would see fit to publish them outside of Japan. While some of their wishes eventually came true, another group, Operation Zero, is hoping to turn Nintendo's attention toward survival horror game Fatal Frame 2: Wii Edition

Fatal Frame 2 hit Nintendo Wii in Japan and Europe as Project Zero 2: Wii Edition on June 28 and 29, respectively, and a lengthy trailer was posted in May. In order to convince Nintendo that there's an audience for the game in the United States, Operation Zero is planning a write- and call-in campaign on their Facebook page for July 25 (East Coast), July 26 (Midwest), and July 27 (West Coast).

Who knows if Nintendo will pay any attention to this campaign, but be sure to check it out if you're also interested in getting the Wii version of Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly over here!
