Ichiban Kuji is a system by Banpresto for distributing high-quality figures and other goods in a "lottery" like way. For a 500 yen (about $6.40) ticket, you are sure to receive at least one prize. Each store gets a number of full sets of prizes along with their respective tickets, and the buyer purchases a random ticket from these sets.
In this Blue Exorcist set, the most sought-after prizes would be the "A" prize of the Rin Okumura figure, the "B" prize of the Yukio Okumura figure, and the "C" prize, the stuffed Kuro doll. Other prizes include posters with exclusive illustrations, three types of long towels, four kinds of "clear file" sets, three different pin sets, and chibi figures that include Rin, Yukio, Shiemi, Mephisto and Shura. There is also a "last one" prize of a limited-edition poster set for the person who purchases the final available ticket from any retailer. Since this is a lottery, you are not allowed to chose which prize you get.
Using the Ichiban Kuji's Nijigen-Code (2D-Code), each ticket holder has a second chance to win one of a hundred "Demonic Rin" figures.
Ichiban Kuji will start the "lottery" at the end of July.
Would you drop six bucks and change to get a chance at one of these prizes?
