Kotobukiya Schedules "Bakemonogatari" Nadeko Sengoku Ani*Statue

1/8th scale figure due in December

Good news, Twister fans. Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari's Nadeko Sengoku is headed to North America courtesy of an Ani*Statue series statue from Kotobukiya. The 1/8th scale, 7-inch-tall cutie is schedule to be imported in December.

From their Facebook post:

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Up next in the Ani*Statue series celebrating the smash hit anime series Bakemonogatari is the shy girl and main character of Nadeko Snake, Nadeko Sengoku! Known for her waist pouch and obsession over her own

hair, the young girl got help from Koyomi when she was put under a curse of death. Nadeko looks perfectly normal as she goes about her day, taking a stroll in her cute little Earth tone outfit (complete with pouch, of course). She’s captured in a cute pose with her knees together and her feet spread out with one hand at her face and the other held out behind her. Her famous locks frame her adorable face and her excellent sculpt includes tons of details on her blouse, skirt, and shoes. You can even display Nadeko in different ways with interchangeable facial expressions and a removable clear snake! The cursed girl stands 7 inches tall (1/8th scale) on a special display base. Nadeko is the perfect addition to the Bakemonogatari line and will look great next to the other girls!

Available December 2012.
