Sony's Walkman is Still a Thing and This One Has Hatsune Miku On It

Limited edition Walkman S available mid-August in black and blue

Far from outdated, Sony's Walkman S MP3 player will soon be available in limited Hatsune Miku versions to commemorate her fifth anniversary. Check out the designs, available in Mid-August, below.

The MP3 players come in black, blue, and one with external speakers:

The Walkman—of which only 3,939 units will be manufactured, because 39 = Miku wordplay in Japanese—come pre-loaded with the song "Hoshi no Kakera." Blue and black models run ¥12,800 ($163), and the external speaker model is priced at ¥15,800 ($201).

Anyone need a new MP3 player?
