XSEED Sets "Way of the Samurai 4" for August 21
Samurai action hits PS3 exclusively for $39.99
Previously mentioned simply as a summer release, publisher XSEED Games has officially dated Way of the Samurai 4. The open-world PS3 samurai action is gunning exclusively for release as a $39.99 PlayStation Network download on August 21.
In Way of the Samurai 4, players choose an allegiance in an ongoing power struggle between three factions in post-isolationist Japan. It's set up open-world style, allowing you to pretty much do whatever you want, whether it be accepting missions to further the story, shopping for new items and clothes, or challenging other samurai to battle.
ACQUIRE (Tenchu, Shinobido) developed the title, which was originally published by Spike in Japan last March. If you missed it, be sure to check out the US trailer released in May.
