VIDEO: Sony Japan Studio's "Puppeteer" Platformer Cuts the Strings

Puppet show-themed PlayStation 3 game is due out in 2013

We already had a look at Sony Japan Studio's Rain, but they also showed off another stylish game at this week's GamesCom event in Cologne, Germany. Puppeteer is a side-scrolling platformer set in a puppet show, with players controlling a young boy with magic scissors as he aims to find his head and face the demon who turned him into a puppet. Check out the trailer below.

Set for a 2013 release on PlayStation 3, Puppeteer features Gavin Moore (lead animator on Siren 2 and Siren: New Translation) as creative director, with Kazunobu Sato (lead character designer on Siren and Siren 2) as Lead Planner and Takashi Mizutani (lead artist on Metal Gear Solid, MGS2, art director on the Ape Escape series) as Producer.
