VIDEO: Preview and Cast Revealed for "Madoka Magica" Director's "Sasami-san@Ganbaranai" Adaptation
All star cast on board for hikikomori rom-com
Comiket revealed that anime studio SHAFT will be producing the adaptation of "Akira's" hikikomori rom-com Sasami-san@Ganbaranai with director Akiyuki Shinbo (Madoka Magica, Nisemonogatari) and writer Katsuhiko Takayama (Shinbo's comedies Pani Poni Dash!/And Yet the Town Moves) re-teaming on the project.
Now, a new promo has taken the next step and revealed the impressive cast.
Sasami Tsukuyomi - Kana Asumi (Nyarko-san's Nyarko)
Tsurugi Yagami - Chiwa Saito (Madoka Magica's Homura)
Kagami Yagami - Kana Hanazawa (Bodacious Space Pirates' Chiaki Kurihara)
Tama Yagami - Ai Nonaka (Madoka Magica's Kyoko)
Kamiomi Tsukuyomi - Houchu Ohtsuka (Naruto's Jiraiya)
The light novels follow a shut-in who spies on her caretaker brother using her computer's “onii-chan surveillance tool.”
