"The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia" is Amazon's #1 Book

Dark Horse's release of massive Zelda tome due out in January

The 50 Shades of Grey trilogy may be a book sales juggernaut, but even it can't handle the weight of the history behind Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise. The Hyrule Historia encyclopedia isn't due out until January 29, 2013, but that hasn't stopped it from hitting the #1 spot on Amazon's list of best-selling books

Dark Horse announced plans to bring the hardcover book to North America last week. Hyrule Historia is stacked at nearly 300 pages, including the history of the Zelda series, a look at the much-debated timeline of the games, an introduction by Shigeru Miyamoto, creator interviews, concept art, an exclusive comic by Akira Himekawa, and more.

The list price for Hyrule Historia is $34.99, but Amazon is selling it for $20.99. Did anyone throw down on a pre-order?
