"Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus" Re-release Set for October in Japan

Downloadable fighter was originally planned for a summer window

PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade are getting ready for another helping of Arc System Works-developed fighting in Japan with Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus. The re-release was originally planned for summer, but now the fighter has an October release window.

Hopefully we'll eventually see it in North America, but plans for release outside of Japan have yet to be announced. That's fine for the time being, though, because when GGXXACP initially hits it will play identically to the PlayStation 2 version. However, the game will eventually be patched to reflect changes in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, the final version of which hits Japanese arcades on September 20.
