Leak Points Toward "The World Ends With You" iOS Port

Square Enix's countdown continues, could be more to come

A few days ago Square Enix unveiled a teaser site counting down to something related to The World Ends With You, a fan favorite released for Nintendo DS in 2007. Well, if Square Enix's earlier leaks are any indication, it looks like we'll be getting a port of the game on iOS.

The beans were spilled via a listing for The World Ends With You - Crossover - arrange album, which mentioned that the iOS version will feature some arranged tracks from Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The details have since been deleted from the product page, but not quickly enough to evade the screencapping might of Japanese blogs

Who knows, maybe there will be more The World Ends With You news on the horizon, and maybe the countdown is for something else. Brian Gray, who co-translated the original TWEWY, hopped on Twitter to comment on the leak.

We'll happily wait if there's more. For now, it looks like we're getting the game on iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch sometime this year.
