Second Season of “Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls” Anime Announced

Follow up to 2010 ARMS bishoujo warrior series planned

After watching Oda Nobuna and Sengoku Collection are you ready for some more Sengoku (and early Edo) warriors and rulers to be recast as cute girls? The newly released 12th volume of Akira Suzuki and Niθ's Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls light novel series announced that a second anime will follow up on the 2010 ARMS produced TV series - which Sentai Filmworks/Section23 released in North America.

Here, legendary warlords like Yukimura Sanada, legendary ninja like Hanzo Hattori and legendary swordsmen Jubei Yagyu are cute teenage girls in a alternate version of the modern era in which the Tokugawa Shogunate never fell... in which warrior girls even fought off the World War II bombing of Japan.
