"The World Ends With You: Solo Remix" Hints at "New 7 Days"

Secret ending scene teases something more

Even when it was just a leak pointing toward The World Ends With You on iOS, some folks were quick to reassure us that this might not be all on the horizon for the fan-favorite game, which debuted on Nintendo DS in 2007. A secret ending scene from the Solo Remix iOS port seems to back that up:

"New 7 Days" could mean anything, or nothing at all. However, a recent article in Japanese gaming mag Famitsu quoted the game's director, Tatsuya Kando, as saying, "We are in the middle of working on various things, but for now please enjoy Solo Remix."

Considering the big deal Square Enix made of an iOS port countdown, and the enthusiasm that surrounded it, I think it's pretty safe to say this isn't the last we've seen of The World Ends With You. Hopefully next time they'll appease everyone with the announcement of a straight-up sequel.

With that in mind, are any of our readers playing Solo Remix
