Early "Pokémon Black/White 2" Purchasers Get the Mythical Genesect
Offer available from launch through November 12
Nintendo is offering even more incentive for fans to pick up their copies of Pokémon Black Version 2 and/or Pokémon White Version 2 when they hit shelves for Nintendo DS on October 7. Those who purchase the game early will get the opportunity to participate in a download event that nets players the mythical Pokémon Genesect.
From October 7 through November 12, Genesect will be available to download for free with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection access. As Nintendo explains, Genesect was restored from a 300-million-year-old fossil and modified by Team Plasma. The Bug- and Steel-type Pokémon can adjust its power levels based on the enemy it's facing, and has a signature move called Techno Blast.
I imagine most Pokémon fans will be picking up Black/White 2 on or around day one, so there's plenty of time to grab Genesect between then and November 12.
