Jake "virt" Kaufman's "Double Dragon Neon" OST Now Available

Name your price for an incredible 45-track collection

One of developer WayForward's smartest moves ever was recruiting Jake "virt" Kaufman to work on their soundtracks. From Contra 4 and beyond, virt's been knocking it out of the park, and he's really outdone himself with the Double Dragon Neon soundtrack. Now the 45-track aural delight is available for free, or name your own price, via Bandcamp.


Fans of the classic Double Dragon games will recognize a few tracks, though they're way pumped up now. Here's one everyone should recall:



The best part, however, is the inclusion of some real throwback '80s-style dance floor thumpers. "City Streets 2 (Mango Tango - Neon Jungle)" is the perfect example: 



Considering how cheap (or, if you so desire, free) this soundtrack is, you can't go wrong. Despite divisive reviews, I think I might have to pick up the game just to beat goons up along to these beats.
