Keiji Inafune—former Capcom producer most known for his years of work on the Mega Man series—has a lot on his plate lately. In addition to Soul Sacrifice, Kaio: King of the Pirates, and the recently revealed zombie-slicing ninja game Yaiba, his Comcept studio also teamed up with Marvelous on J.J. Rockets, a side-scrolling action game that puts players in control of a superheroic President of the United States.
In J.J. Rockets, the POTUS puts on some flashy superhero gear and takes to the streets to blast away with an arsenal of 200 weapons. Each mission must be completed in under three minutes and, judging from the screenshots, it looks like it shares the spirit of Mega Man with a dash of Viewtiful Joe for good measure.
J.J. Rockets is currently only available in Japan on Android, and is free to members of the Mobage social gaming service, with plans to bring it to iOS eventually. Let's hope future plans also include a trip to the west!
