Discotek Adds Takashi Miike's Live-Action "Yatterman" Film

Movie to be released on home video in 2013

Discotek Media just made another licensing announcement via Facebook, and this time it's a live-action film. They'll be bringing Takashi Miike's Yatterman film to home video in 2013.

Yatterman, which adapts the 1977 Tatsunoko Productions anime series with amazingly bold and fun faithfulness, originally hit theaters in Japan in 2009, after it made its world premiere at New York Comic-Con. Takashi Miike rolled up in a limo but everyone there was screamin' for dreamy star Sho Sakurai.
