Sega Locks Down Final Dates for "Sonic Adventure 2" and "NiGHTS"

Both Heritage Collection games hit PSN on October 2, XBLA on October 5

In the beginning of the month Sega released a trailer for its Heritage Collection games, which include Jet Set Radio, NiGHTS into Dreams, and Sonic Adventure 2. The promo dated the latter two for October, and now Sega has confirmed final release dates and pricing for each.

Both NiGHTS and Sonic Adventure 2 land on PlayStation Network on October 2 for $9.99. An Xbox Live Arcade release is set to follow a few days later on October 5 for 800 Microsoft Points. Fans should also be delighted to learn that the Heritage Collection release of NiGHTS will include the Christmas NiGHTS expansion.

Sonic Adventure 2 will have some downloadable content after it debuts. For an extra $3 or 240 MS Points you'll be able to grab Battle Mode DLC, which includes maps and characters from the GameCube version.
