Crunchyroll Adds "My Little Monster" (Tonari No Kaibutsu-kun) Anime to Fall Lineup

Starts today, 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time

Wake up, sleepy heads! Crunchyroll has another new show announcement to make for the fall 2012 Anime Season. My Little Monster will begin streaming today, October 1, at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time for premium members, and October 8 for free members.


My Little Monster is based on the manga Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun by Robico, and is being animated by Brain's Base (Durarara!!, Princess Jellyfish). The series features voice actress and singer Haruka Tomatsu as the main female character “Shizuku Mizutani," with Tatsuhisa Suuki opposite her as “Haru Yoshida."



Here’s the synopsis for you…


This is a love story revolving around the impassive girl Shizuku Mizutani, whose only interest is in studying, and the trouble-making boy, Haru Yoshida, who is absent from school after getting into a fight. Asked to deliver some handouts to Haru at his home, Shizuku suddenly finds herself the target of his affections. My Little Monster is a story about a boy and a girl who struggle with love and friendship, and discovering that opening yourself up to other people forces you to become honest with yourself.


My Little Monster will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, North America, Central America and South America.
