Sony Offers $20 Back for Spending 100 Bucks on PSN

Credit for money spent in October to be sent to buyers in November

Sony has an enticing offer for those looking to buy things from the PlayStation Network service. Those who spend $100 on PSN in October will receive $20 in credit in return, making for some nice purchasing potential in the wake of Sony's Day 1 Digital downloads.

As the fine print states, the credit will be emailed to the address used to set up the PSN account, and those on PlayStation 3 will receive notification via an XMB message. The credit can, naturally, be put toward anything on PSN.

For those who haven't seen Sony's Day 1 Digital initiative, it's a pretty solid move if you're not always keen on hitting up stores to buy games when they release. The first titles included in the month of October are Resident Evil 6, NBA 2K13, Dishonored, DOOM 3: BFG Edition, 007: Legends, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and Assassin's Creed III. All will be available for download at retail price the day they hit shelves.
