The tension filled pacing of Hunter x Hunter's 49th episode leading up to its crack climactic action scene makes that ep a personal favorite from the 2011 anime series. A new  comparison video juxtaposes this Madhouse version of the episode 49/50 sequence with the 1999 Nippon Animation version.
