"Sleeping Dogs" Gets Some Spooky DLC on October 30

"Nightmare in Northpoint" comes just in time for Halloween

Raise your hand if you played United Front's Sleeping Dogs. Okay, rad game, right? If you still have your copy, or if you plan on picking it up at some point, the first story-driven bit of DLC is officially on its way in "Nightmare in Northpoint," scheduled to debut on October 30.

The timing is certainly appropriate, because "Nightmare in Northpoint" brings a horror twist to the seedy Hong Kong underworld trappings in which protagonist Wei Shen finds himself. Developer United Front announced the DLC at a New York Comic Con panel, saying that, "with the DLC, we feel we can explore other aspects of Hong Kong Cinema." Think Red Dead Redemption's "Undead Nightmare" DLC and you've got a good idea of the frights to come.

Who's ready for some Halloween-appropriate Sleeping Dogs action?
