Fate/zero Chogokin Armored Gilgamesh and Saber Previewed

Plus Capsule Q Fraulein Fate/Zero figures of the Emiya cadre and Prisma Illya 1/8th scale figure

"Chogokin" ("super alloy") is the manga equivalent of Marvel Comic's adamantium, introduced as the building block for the pioneering piloted mech Mazinger Z. In the '70s, "Chogokin" also became Bandai's Popy brand's name for die-cast metal figures. Generally, it's for mecha, but apparently Fate/ characters have enough armor to warrant Chogokin figures.

Anticipated Saber and Gilgamesh were on display at this past weekend's Dengeki 20th Anniversary event. Saber was previously previewed, but she now has a February release scheduled at 7,875yen ($99).

Gilgamesh was newly unveiled at the event.

Elsewhere, Kaiyodo has scheduled an Emiya cadre Capsule Q Fraulein Fate/Zero set for late February.

It includes:

-Saber (in armor)

-Saber (in suits)

Illyasviel Von Einzbern's magical girl incarnation from Fate/kaleid liner is also getting a Prisma Illya Comic Ver. 1/8 Complete Figure in March from Phat Company for 7000yen ($88)

Announced back in April, the magical girl manga is scheduled to be adapted into 2013 anime, with Silver Link (Baka to Test, C^3) producing the Shin Oonuma (Baka to Testdirected project.
