"Girls und Panzer" Storms the Plastic Model World
Kits of the titular tank dominate Amazon Japan's hobby plamo chart
While Gundam are the best known example of plastic models (plamo), there's a world of Japanese model kits beyond those particular bipedal mecha. That battle field is being stormed by 1/35th scale kits of the new Girls und Panzer anime's titular tanks, with preorders for the four planned tanks crowding Amazon Japan's hobby plamo top sales chart.

Meanwhile, the makers of Girls Und Panzer announced plans to participate in the Ibaraki Prefecture Oarai Festival November 18th. So, if you want to see the cast perform the anglerfish dance, book your ticket to Japan soon.
