VIDEO: Change the Size of Your Food (and Appetite) with New Augmented Reality Tech

Oreo cookie not included

Ever wanted to eat something (pizza, pancakes, hamburguesa con queso), but your eyes were bigger than your stomach….or something like that? Good news: Japanese computer geniuses have just come up with a way to change the size of your food, thus changing your appetite in the process, using “augmented reality” tech. See a demo of this incredible mind bending breakthrough in science (I kid) below!

It seems kind of unlikely that people (even fat ones) would want to strap on heads up display goggles in front of a blue screen just to eat an Oreo cookie (that winds up looking like an 8-bit asteroid once everything is hooked up), but what do I know? Maybe this really could save America from the obesity epidemic like the skinny know-it-all in the video claims!
