Back in September, Namco Bandai registered the All-Star Battle trademark, which gave many hopes that, if the pattern set by One Piece Pirate Warriors' trademark held up, international audiences may have a chance to battle as the Joestar clan and their foes in PlayStation 3 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure fighter All-Star Battle.
With recent comments made for Spanish audiences, there's been reason for both optimism and pessimism about the chances.
First Hiroshi Matsuyama. president of developer CyberConnect2, told a Salon del Manga de Barcelona audience that he'd love to see the game released in the west. However, Namco Bandai poured some cold water on that, with the Iberian branch of the company clarifying that statement just represent's Matsuyama hopes, and that the decision to release the game internationally ultimately rests with the publisher. Nothing could be confirmed at this time, but "anything is possible."
