The initial roster of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is fairly extensive, but Sony has more characters in the pipelines that they'll be pumping in as DLC after the brawler's November 20 release. Chief among them is Kat, leading lady of PS Vita action game Gravity Rush, who will be joining the lineup in early 2013.
The best part about DLC characters like Kat is they'll be free! For the first couple of weeks, at least, Kat will be available for no charge. Kat's style focuses on aerial assaults, pulling from the gravity-bending nature of her portable outing. StarHawk's Emmett Graves will also be joining Kat early next year, and will be utilizing StarHawk's "Build and Battle" system in his playstyle.
Sony Santa Monica Studio Lead Game Designer Seth Killian, formerly of Capcom, mentions more DLC announcements to come, so these will likely not be the last we hear of DLC players for PS All-Stars.
