"Fighting Vipers" and More Head to XBLA and PSN Next Week

Sega's AM2 fighters get new life for $4.99 a pop

Sega has confirmed more classic games for download, and this time the fun focuses on a trio of AM2-developed fighters from the 90s. Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, and Sonic the Fighters are all on their way to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network next week, and will be priced at $4.99/400 MS Points a pop.

The fun hits PSN in North America on November 27, with a European PSN release (for £3.69/€4.49 each) to follow on December 5. XBLA gets the downloads on November 28.

Virtua Fighter 2 (1994)

Fighting Vipers (1995)

Sonic the Fighters (1996)

Anyone have fond memories of Sega's AM2 fighters? I used to play a loooot of Fighting Vipers on Saturn.
