Kotobukiya Previews "Total Eclipse" Yui Takamura Ani*Statue, Kirino Cu-Poche Figure and More

Figures makers previews a host of upcoming North American imports

Figure maker Kotobukiya has gone to Facebook with a host of previews of upcoming items to be imported to North America, including a Cu-poche SD version of Oreimo's Kirino, a sexy Ani*Statue of Total Eclipse's Yui, mecha models and more.

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! For the third member of the new lineup of Cu-Poche figures, Kotobukiya returns to the popular Ore no Imoto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai (“My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute”) franchise and the secretive and mature young girl Kirino Kousaka! Combining poseability and stability, each Cu-Poche figure features multiple points of articulation and magnets in its feet for extra stability on the included base. The pretty young novelist and model looks adorable in this super-cute “deformed” style, wearing her blue and white school uniform with red tie, purple bracelet, chunky brown shoes, and pink barrettes in her hair. With several different interchangeable face parts you can display Kirino with a variety of expressions from an eager smile to a pensive frown or silly eyes-closed look with her tongue sticking out! She even comes with special accessories: her cell phone and purse. Sculpted by Hideaki Ohya, Kirino stands almost 4 ½ inches tall and has 14 points of articulation so you can pose her according to your wishes. She’s great for fans of Ore no Imouto and collectors of the Cu-Poche series alike!

Available June 2013.

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! The latest addition to the Super Robot Taisen model kit lineup is a long-awaited upgrade to the classic Granzon unit, Neo Granzon! Created by alchemy and dark magic, the Neo Granzon is the result of Shu Shira
kawa accessing the dark god Volkruss and morphing the Granzon. An enormous and powerful robot, the model kit version is a veritable walking tank of massive armor and flared fins and edges. Recommended for moderate to advanced modelers, the Neo Granzon consists of 600 pieces molded in pre-colored plastic featuring the robot’s bold blue, yellow, and gray color scheme; no painting is required! Multiple points of articulation give it a wide range of posing options, and the hulking unit stands over 8 ½ inches tall! Neo Granzon comes with alternate parts and weapons so you can display it as you like, and of course it includes the famous Granworm Sword.

Available March 2013.
