The Persona/Megami Tensei family is getting ready to welcome a new anime into the fold. Persona 4 anime director Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!, Humanity Has Declined, Astro Fighter Sunred) and his Carnival Phantasm collaborator Makoto Uezu have been tied to an anime version of the Devil Survivor 2 RPG. The project from the pair, who have also just been named for a Danganronpa game adaptation, will air on Japanese TV in April.
The game follows a group of students who received an SMS previewing their deaths, and then must use a devil summoning apps to save themselves.
A manga is also slated for Square Enix’s G Fantasy magazine.
And a game, possibly an "overclocked" 3DS port, also appears to be in the works.
