Two Top-Level Fighting Game Players Hired by Capcom

Neidel "Haunts" Crisan and Peter "Combofiend" Rosas joining the crew

Between Yoshinori Ono going through seesaw health issues and Seth Killian's departure, it looked like there wasn't much of a future for Capcom's fighting games. However, there is hope--along with the announcement for Mega Man X Street Fighter, Capcom announced two big names joining their roster.

Neidel "Haunts" Crisan is a writer for IPlayWinner and 1UP as well as a tourney player, and will be joining regular ranking player Peter "Combofiend" Rosas at Capcom for as-yet-unannounced positions. For those of you who don't know Combofiend, here's an introduction:

There are no actual details on what Haunts and Combofiend will be doing for Capcom, but just having these guys around for balance and competitive details is already giving me hope. What about you, what do you think? What can having some of the "new generation" of competitive fighting game players mean for Capcom and its stable of fighters?
