Yuri Manga Anthology "Tsubomi" Ends Print Run

Closed its 4 years history this month

Houbunsha's Yuri manga anthology Tsubomi ended its print run with its 21st issue which was released in Japan on December 12th. The publisher announced that they will continue to publish the tankoubons from the anthology and its free web comic. Tsubomi started its publication as a quarterly magazine in February 2009 and changed into a bimonthly in October 2010 with its 8th issue. Many popular Yuri manga artists such as Mera Hakamada, Milk Morinaga, and Ken Kurogane had contributed the anthology. Some titles are expected to move to the web version. Ichijinsha's Comic Yurihime and Shinshokan's Hirari, are the two remained Yuri manga anthologies for all ages in Japan now.
