With Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus now available on both Xbox Live and PSN, fighting game fans have been able to find out just how tough they really are in one of the most competitive, sharply-designed fighters available.
The answer for me is "not very"
Other than online multiplayer, one of the main reasons hardcore fighting fans dropped their cash for a game that was already available on PS2, Wii, and PSP several years ago was the chance to get their hands on Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R, the the most recent upgrade to the game that's currently making the rounds in Japanese arcades.
Arc System Works' latest announcement confirmed that Plus R will be available as a patch this coming spring. The patch includes the fifth set of rebalances, Achievements and Trophies, a separate leaderboard, improved online matchmaking, and Justice and Kliff playable in online versus. Much like Super Street Fighter IV and Arcade Edition, you'll be able to switch between Accent Core Plus and Accent Core Plus R in the settings menu.
Who here has been grinding through the ranks in Accent Core Plus' online matches? Looking over this list of changes for Chipp and Faust, I'm looking forward to trying them out--what about you?
