Mega Man Celebrates His 25th Anniversary!

"Street Fighter x Mega Man" hits PC, first six games come to 3DS

Times may have been a bit tough for Mega Man of late, but things are looking up in light of his milestone 25th anniversary. Capcom is kicking off the celebration in a couple of ways, most notably with the previously announced release of fan-project-turned-official-game Street Fighter X Mega Man, which is available to download on PC for free today. 


Capcom also announced plans to release the first six NES Mega Man games as downloads on Nintendo 3DS, starting with the original Mega Man on December 27. The classic re-releases will be staggered as we transition into the new year, and if Capcom's press release is any indication, we have more 25th anniversary fun to come, from events to new licensed products.
