"RDG Red Data Girl" Anime Key Visual

Saori Hayami to voice lead in light novel adaptation

Much to the distress of anime fans with certain proclivities, the prominent glasses worn by the heroine of the upcoming adaptation of Noriko Ogiwara's light novel series RDG Red Data Girl in an earlier preview are nowhere to be seen in the new key visual for the April TV series!

P.A. Works' (Angel Beats!Hanasaku Iroha, Tari Tari) adaptation features Saori Hayami (Oreimo's Ayase Aragaki) as the lead in the TV series directed by Black Butler's Toshiya Shinohara.

Wildlife species who are at risk of going extinct are listed on the IUCN Red Data List and are protected. However, the plot of this fantasy series is about what if wildlife were not the only things...? Izumiko Suzuhara, who is now in her 3rd year of elementary school, has lived at the Tamakura Shrine all her life and has never left the mountain. Suddenly, her grandfather suggests that she change schools to one in Tokyo, the Houjyou academy, attended by a number of students with special circumstances.
