Here’s the official synopsis and background info…
Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan”, translated to “My Little Sister is an Osaka Momma,” tells the story of Kyosuke, a boy who has been reunited with his sister after 10 years of living apart. However, his little sister Namika is nothing like he remembers.
Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan” is another collaboration between director and designer Sota Sugahara and writer Kotaro Ishidate, who previously worked together on the first season of gdgd Fairies. Ryoko Shirashi, best known for her roles as Hayate in the Hayate the Combat Butler series and Kaede Nagase in Negima!, will star as the main character. His younger sister will be voiced by Kana Asumi, whose credits include Yukikaze Panettone from Dog Days, Kiyal in Gurren Lagann, and Ran from the Shugo Chara series.
The series is based off of a series of popular books called “Osaka Rules” by Chukei Shuppan, which offers a humorous look at how to deal with people from Osaka, who are stereotypically portrayed as being louder and more forward than their Tokyo counterparts.
Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan” will be available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the following territories: North America and Central America, Caribbean, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Netherlands, South America, and Latin America.
