The Oricon Style website has posted the CD ranking of 2012 which covered sales in Japan from December 12th, 2011 to December 9th, 2012. The top-selling anime theme song of the year is Masaharu Fukuyama's 28th single "Ikiteru Ikiteku", which is featured as the theme song for Doraemon: Nobita and the Island of Miracles ~Animal Adventure~. The single is the first and only anime song in his career.
The only anime-related album in the top 100 is ClariS' 1st album "BIRTHDAY" in the 79th place, which includes "Irony" (Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai OP), "Connect" (Puella Magi Madoka Magica OP), and "Naisho no Hanashi" (Nisemonogatari ED). The album sold 86,115 units in Japan. And the best-selling vocaloid album in 2012 is "EXIT TUNES PRESENTS Vocalodream feat. Hatsune Miku" in the 95th place, which sold 73,164 units.
