Sumi Shimamoto was the voice of Clarisse in Hayao Miyazaki's Castle of Cagliostro, then the heroine of his proto-Studio Ghibli movie Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. She then grew into the role of the mother in Ghibli's Totoro. More recently, she's had small but memorable roles like Lucky Star's Kanata Izumi and Gintama's Mitsuba Okita.
Now the classic voice actress is back as sexy teacher Ms Kinoshita in the adaptation of Masao's seinen gag manga Ishida and Asakura.
