VIDEO: Manga Industry Goes Moe in "Mangirl" Anime Preview

"YuruYuri" studio and "K-on!" writer team up on January anime

Dogakobo, the folks behind the YuruYuri anime, have a new four panel manga adaptation coming up January 2nd. Nobuaki Nakanishi (Shin Koihime Musou) directs the adaptation of Kagari Tamaoka's Mangirlwith K-on!'s Reiko Yoshida writing the series about a team of novice girls trying to edit a manga magazine. 



“We're going to launch a manga magazine! A team of girls with zero experience in manga editing are off and running toward their dream of creating the biggest manga magazine in Japan! They seem to do nothing but run into problems and failures... But still they're working hard every day!”
