Annual Hakone Ekiden run between Tokyo and Hakone gets some nice otaku Easter eggs

The Hakone Ekiden is an annual male only relay marathon, run between Tokyo and Hakone on 2 and 3 January and televised on Nippon Television. This year, both days yielded on nice otaku Easter eggs, with K-on! drummer Ritsu encouraging the runners the first day and Dragon Ball Z's Frieza turning up on the second.
