Seinen Comedy "Danchi Tomoo" Slated For Anime Adaptation

"Big Comic Spirits" announces spring NHK adaptation

Seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits has revealed that comedy Tobira Oda's Tezuka Culture Prize nominated comedy Danchi Tomoo is slated for a spring NHK anime adaptation. The 2004 ongoing, which has run over 20 volumes, follows the antics of Tomoo, a not too bright boy from a hi-rise apartment as he experiences Japanese life.
