Artists, heed my words! This time, I'm not asking you to send your stuff in to me for Fanart Friday (although you totally should anyways), but instead, I'm directing you to a chance for fame and some really good reading?

Archie Comics, publishers of the surprisingly excellent Mega Man comic, are hosting a fanart contest titled "Rock of Ages" in celebration of Mega Man's 25th anniversary. The rules are simple--put together a piece that "showcases Mega Man and/or his universe."

So no crossover stuff, it seems

First place gets your art a full-page display in the upcoming Mega Man #23, along with the first four collected volumes of the series, issues 20-23, the Mega Man Tribute artbook from UDON, and a Mega Man prize pack from Capcom-Unity. Three runners-up will have their art displayed in Mega Man #23, and win Mega Man issues 20-23 along with a copy of the Mega Man Tribute artbook.
