TSUTAYA is the largest DVD/BD and CD rental shop chain in Japan. As we reported, the most rented anime/animation title in 2012 was Studio Ghibli's 17th feature film From Up on Poppy Hill. On the other hand, the best selling DVD/BD title in its online store's anime section was K-ON! The Movie, which was on the ninth spot in the rental ranking. After the theatrical release in December 2011, the DVD/BD was released in on July 18th, 2012. Check the top 30 ranking below.
