"Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers" Set for April 16 Release on 3DS

Updated version gets a North American release date

An updated version of the Sega Saturn original, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, is due out on Nintendo 3DS, and the release has officially been set for April 16.

The 3DS version of Soul Hackers features a number of improvements over the Saturn release, including voice acting, faster battles, the ability to adjust the difficulty in the middle of a dungeon, an auto-mapping feature on the bottom screen, more demons, a new theme song, and an animated opening by Macross F studio Satelight.

Soul Hackers was originally just dated for "spring," and Atlus released a teaser for the dungeon crawler in December.
