"Gurren Lagann" Heroines Get a "Panty and Stocking" Make-Over for New Figures

Plus Super Chogokin Anti-Lagann

Gurren Lagann revival mania is stretching into summer. Good Smile Cmpany has scheduled July for a Yoko and Nia twin pack with the two redesigned in Panty and Stocking style by the character designer for both series, Atsushi Nishigori. Meanwhile, Bandai has slated a Super Chogokin (diecast) figure of the Anti-Lagann for June.

The figures are based on illustrations that were specially drawn up for the Twin Pack+ by Atsushi Nishigori, who was the character designer for both Gurren Lagaan and Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt! The set also includes a little figure of Boota, which was illustrated by Shigeto Koyama, another staff member deeply involved in both of the series! It's a lovely set that Gurren Lagaan fans are sure to fall in love with!!
