“Maoyu” Exhibit in Akihabara Puts Demon King on Display

Items on display include cosplay, signed art and a photo op with the Demon King

Fans of Maoyu lurking around Akihabara can get an eyeful of some pretty cool Demon King stuff right now thanks to an exhibit on the seventh floor of Gamers. The area is overrun with art, cardboard standups and killer cosplay.

One cardboard standup offers fans a chance to get their picture taken with the demon king herself, while the other features signatures from the voice actors. Keep in mind this is the same group that voiced Spice & Wolf, so that’s some serious concentrated voice actor star power on that piece of cardboard.

I like that there are so many signatures they felt the need to put the standup behind a velvet rope, art museum style.

There’s also a ton of artwork:

Is it me, or did someone make some alterations to the bust of that dress? It seems less impressive, somehow.

Wish you could own some of this stuff? If you’re near Akihabara, you can. A lot of the cooler items (including signed posters) are available to win in a lottery.
